Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 6, 2026 · Last Updated: March 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Crada service operated by Crada (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at crada.live. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Crada.
1. Account Terms
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Crada. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
1.2 Account Creation
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@crada.live if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
1.3 One Person Per Account
Accounts are intended for individual use. You may not share your account credentials with others. Each person should create their own account.
2. The Service
2.1 Description
Crada is a content reference management service. You can save links, text excerpts, articles, and notes, organize them with tags, and find them via search. Crada uses AI to automatically classify, summarize, and analyze your saved content.
2.2 Service Tiers and Credits
- Free tier: Includes a limited number of credits for AI-powered features. Core saving and search functionality is available at no cost.
- Paid tier: Additional credits and features available through credit purchases or subscription plans.
- Credits: AI features (classification, summarization, analysis) consume credits. Credit costs vary by content length and feature. Unused credits do not expire while your account is active.
2.3 Service Availability
We strive to keep Crada available and reliable, but we provide the service on a “best effort” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or improvements with advance notice when possible.
2.4 Changes to the Service
We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time. For significant changes that affect your use of the service, we will provide reasonable notice.
3. Payment and Billing
3.1 Pricing
Current pricing, credit packages, and subscription plans are displayed on the Crada website. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits or a subscription, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
3.3 Refunds
Credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been used. For unused credits or billing errors, contact support@crada.live and we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
3.4 Price Changes
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will continue at the current price until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Crada only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the service to store, distribute, or link to content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to the service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use, except through our official bookmarklet and browser extension.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
- Use the service to send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you save, create, or upload to Crada. This includes links, notes, excerpts, tags, and any other content you add to your library.
By using Crada, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose other than providing the service.
5.2 Our Service
The Crada service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Crada and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without our written permission.
5.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the service. This does not apply to content you save in your library.
6. AI Features
6.1 AI-Powered Classification
Crada uses third-party AI services (currently Groq) to automatically classify, summarize, and analyze your saved content. When you save an item, its text content is sent to the AI provider for processing.
6.2 Limitations
- AI classifications, summaries, and analyses may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are provided as organizational aids only.
- AI outputs should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.
- We may change the AI provider or model used for classification at any time without notice.
6.3 Your Data and AI
Your content is processed by the AI provider solely for classification. It is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Third-Party Content and Services
7.1 Saved Links and References
Crada allows you to save links and references to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party websites, any transactions or interactions you have with third-party sites, or any data collection by third-party sites you visit through links saved in Crada.
Saving a link in Crada does not imply our endorsement of that content.
7.2 Gmail Integration
If you connect Gmail, Crada accesses your email data in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy. Access is read-only and limited to the label you select. You can revoke access at any time.
7.3 Service Providers
Crada relies on third-party service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Groq, Resend). Their respective terms of service may also apply to aspects of your use of Crada.
8. DMCA and Copyright
8.1 Respect for Copyright
Crada respects intellectual property rights. Users must not use the service to store or distribute content that infringes on the copyright of others.
8.2 Takedown Notices
If you believe that content accessible through Crada infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at support@crada.live with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing.

- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
8.3 Counter-Notification
If your content was removed due to a takedown notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with the required information under the DMCA. We will process counter-notifications in accordance with applicable law.
8.4 Repeat Infringers
We may terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers.
9. Termination
9.1 By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@crada.live. Upon account closure, your saved content will be deleted within 30 days, your account information will be removed from our active systems, and some data may persist in backups for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy. We recommend exporting your data before closing your account.
9.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- Your use of the service poses a security risk.
- We are required to do so by law.
- The service is discontinued.
Where possible, we will provide notice before termination and an opportunity to export your data.
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crada, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at support@crada.live and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
13.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not resolved informally will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
14. Privacy
Your use of Crada is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Crada after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may close your account before the changes take effect.
16. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crada regarding the service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours without restriction.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or government actions.
